When you don’t do much, there’s not much to write about. So, I only have some tidbits today.
FRIDAY ~ My shopping trip went well. It was hot, but there was no humidity, and a light breeze was blowing. So, I didn’t fall apart. I miss browsing in stores, and I asked my husband if he minded. He was glad I was out and about, so he agreed readily. I got the gifts I needed, and I bought a top for me. The ride to and fro was comfortable, and I’m glad I went. My whole demeanor is lifted when I do ‘normal’ things without bad consequences.
SUNDAY ~ I skipped Saturday because all I did was read and watch TV. When my husband goes into the store, I try just staying still so I don’t get hurt. Unfortunately, I had a chicken salad hoagie for dinner, and after eating only half, I felt nauseous. Judy told me to keep track of what I eat to determine how food affects me. I think it was raw onions, and I remember that they were in the food that last made me sick. So, no more for me. I felt okay on Sunday, but I feared having issues, so I stayed home while my husband went to church.
TODAY ~ We’re entering another hot spell this week, so I’m staying inside. I have gifts to wrap for my husband to take to the post office. That will involve time and patience. So, it’s about all I’ll do today. When he goes to work later, I’ll just read.
Isn’t that pathetic – I have done so little! Maybe tomorrow I’ll do more.
Peace,
Muff
HI MUFF - many victories however small, victories all the same. I have to remind myself all the time of the do's so I don't get lost in the can't or didn't do's, ya know? Heat wave here too so I am home bound in the A/C as well.
ReplyDeleteWith hope for us all

Those little successes keep me going, and I remind myself of them when things start to go downhill!
Deleteawwwww, you did a lot muff!! better to go slow and do what you can, then to overdo it and be in bed for a week!! we are getting thunderstorms as i type, i love summer storms!!!
ReplyDeleteI saw those storms on the weather map, but we had sunshine all day. Strange that we're only about an hour apart, and the weather can be so different! Sun and heat again today!
Deleteand yes, the butterfly project would be great for kids. you can sent away for all the needed supplies and actually start with the eggs if you want to!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to tell my daughter. Even though it's late July, the little guys may enjoy the project!
DeleteMuff, I hope the onion discovery results in lasting benefit for you.
