Brief Stopover

I’m only on here briefly because I have to spend time in the kitchen. The house is exceptionally cool, and my oven doesn’t make the rooms hot. So, I’m off to make desserts and then dinner for my boys. The former I’m calling Peaches and Cream Torte, and dinner will be retro – chicken casserole. I’ll write about them once I make sure they turn out all right. Stay cool! (Our heat index today will be over 100!!)

    Not having AC, I decided to take advantage of the steamy weather by steaming wallpaper off the living room walls. But I did serve salad and cold ham for dinner.

      Are you using a steamer to strip the walls? Be sure to check online for simpler ways to do that chore -- the internet is always right! ;-]
