Need Some Time

Wouldn’t you think that being a disabled/retired person, I’d have all the time in the world? Well, I fritter away much of it, playing on this little device, then reading, then watching TV, then visiting my mother, and then resting. Sometimes by the end of the day, I chide myself for having accomplished so little. On the other hand, when I do decide to be constructive, I get tired and have to double the rest period. A losing battle!

Today, I’m not writing 500 or more words here. I’m going to gather some ingredients and practice mise en place for when my little guy arrives. We’ll make a cake for tonight’s dessert when my big guys will also join us. A busy day lies ahead, and I need some extra energy. I wish there were an energy bank where I could make a withdrawal on days when I need it!

I’ll be back tomorrow with some fragments and grammar!

Peace,
Muff

I am always wasting time. That's why my focus for 2013 is "balance". Have fun with your little guy!

Enjoy the day! I probably waste a lot of time also but at this point I try not to judge myself so much and just go with the flow.

Take all the time you need. It's therapy without actually having to get insurance to pay for it or having to shell out your own money. It is NOT laziness!

I fritter or putz around and time goes fast. It is hard to get motivated I find. But when it kicks in I am slow an do what I can. My grammer ain't so good so don't worry.

Wouldn't it be neat if you could have a battery charger and replaceable batteries? Just like a camera or flashlight!!!!

I hope all is well with you. My sister has MS and on our blog: http://www.mslife.lifesparknetwork.com there is a new promising treatment for those afflicted with this horrid disease.
Please stop by and share your story!

It's so incredibly easy to fritter the time away... I get so involved reading/writing/exploring here and when I look at the clock finally... oh my word!

Karen, I remember you wrote about that kind of balance. I lack it -- in all areas!!

Jan, great idea -- I need to be less judgmental with myself.

Nancy, sometimes, right when I get that motivation, I also get the fatigue that precludes any action!

Muffy, if you invented such batteries, you'd be a billionaire!!

Ellen, I'll check it out.

Sherri, I know -- that clock becomes my nemesis!

Peace,
Muff
